1 Day Adventure in Prague

1 Day Adventure in Prague

Ever had to travel in Prague but you only have a day to explore the city? That was my friend last 2018. I had a longer stay however she needed to go back in just a day. So, we did a speed through of Prague and here are the notable places you need to visit.

1st stop: Old Town Prague

The first time I laid eyes on Prague, it was like walking straight into a dreamland – my very own real-life Disneyland! The churches, the buildings, the architecture – everything felt enchantingly pretty but, let’s be real, a tad crowded. It’s the kind of place that sweeps you off your feet, even if you have to share the magic with a bunch of fellow dreamer.

2nd Stop: Rooftop View

We stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant boasting a mesmerizing view of Old Town Prague, and let me tell you, it was absolutely breathtaking! We not only savored a quick bite but also made sure to capture some amazing photos to remember this moment.

3rd Stop: Charles Bridge

Among the multitude of bridges around the globe, this one stands out – it’s the main bridge in Prague. Crossing this iconic structure takes you to the other side, where the majestic Prague Castle awaits. It’s not just a bridge; it’s a gateway to another world. It also has amazing views of the Vltava River.

4th Stop: On the hunt for the most instaworthy Shots of Charles Bridge Backdrop with Swans

Having spotted these enchanting swans against the bridge backdrop on Instagram, we eagerly embarked on a quest to find that picturesque spot. Initially, we believed we had located it, only to discover it was an abandoned parking lot. Undeterred, we pressed on, and as the sounds of ducks and swans grew louder, we stumbled upon this truly breathtaking view.

5th Stop: A gingerbread cookie shop

It was getting dark and cold so we stopped for a quick look around on a shop that has gingerbreads up for display it was mid november and I guess they were getting ready for chirstmas. The gingerbread, cookie, and hot chocolate were delicious. We felt cozy and warm.

6th Stop: Pushing through Prague Castle

Although it was already quite dark, we seized the opportunity to visit the Prague Castle, and even in the dimness, its majestic presence remained undeniable.

Okay, Actually it might be better to explore the palace when there’s sun and when we’re not hungry but nevertheless it was a great day in Prague.
