I’ve had the pleasure of visiting this ramen spot twice \u2013 once when I was absolutely famished and the second time right before getting proposed to. Maybe it’s a special place for me, but setting aside any bias, here’s my honest take on Kinton Ramen. Also, it’s worth mentioning that I’ve only been to the Kinton Ramen on Bay St.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ambiance and Vibes (8.5\/10)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I like the store ambiance, design, and feel. It felt modern yet authentic. It has an approachable vibe and is not intimidating for those who haven’t tried ramen before. Also, the saving grace of the score was its restroom. I love how it’s complete from hand soap to lotion, and even mouthwash is included. First time seeing that in a restaurant. The open kitchen is also great, especially if you’re eating alone. It’s like free entertainment sitting by the bar and waiting for your order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Location and People (8\/10)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It was easy to access coming from the go train or Union station, reason why I ate there 2x in a row. The people working there are nice and kind. They are eager to accommodate and fast with their service. You can see how attentive they are and we were checked on asking how our ramen was. You don’t also feel the feeling of getting rushed despite the line forming at the front.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ramen and Gyoza (7\/10)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Despite it being a well-known ramen place with people constantly lining up for it, I wasn’t all that impressed with the broth and noodles. I did try three different ramen at this establishment, and I would grade them differently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
